Energy Is In Feta Cheese!

Are you thinking I'm cookoo by saying that energy is in Feta cheese?

Well, I may be cookoo, but not because of my statement.

The energy comes from the feeling I get when I smell and eat

feta cheese. I remember my days as a child working at our family

restaurant when I would prepare the Greek salads and add the feta.

I also recall when we were at home and we would cook a meal,

and nine times out of ten, feta would somehow be incorporated,

either as a side, or an ingredient in that meal.

You may have guessed that feta is my comfort food. I feel at home when

I eat it, and it reminds me of family times growing up. I feel safe and

at home, and stable. Ok...that is stretching a bit, but the fact is that

comfort foods drum up comfortable feelings and memories.

When you feel like it, add a little comfort food to your day, and

recall the memories and the good times.

I Want To Dance Tonight!

The ancient dance form, Zembekiko, is an extremely passionate

and physical bop. To dance this, you get lost in the music

and are transported to the hills and mountains of

Greece during war time. To wholly, and with your spirit, dance

Zembekiko, you feel deeply and are fully aware that you are ALIVE!

A glass of Retsina, a skilled Bouzouki player, and you, is what is

required for an outstanding Zembekiko experience. The best one I

ever had was barefoot in the village of Kiato during festival time.

I hope to recapture the emotion this summer if I travel back to

Corinth!

In the meantime, I now return to the work at hand...

May the Kefi be with you...

Energy Is In Learning...

Hello friends,

The end of 2009 is drawing near. I feel compelled

to tell you what I've learned.

Life is short.

Life is a numbers game.

No matter what you do, it's about deposit and return.

Life is about spending time with those you LOVE.

Goals are good, but good habits are even more important.

Sometimes, the answer is not in face value.

Nurturing your mind, body and soul is critical

to gaining inner peace!

Massage can heal any ailment, at least temporarily.

Life is grand if you decide it to be!!!!

I know that there is more, but this is top

of my mind now. More later...

See you at the Holiday Stroll

in Burr Ridge Village Center this weekend.

Love,
The Roadrunner :)
